Break of Dawn

Break of Dawn was released as part of the Local Game Store promotional series, a program designed to foster community engagement by incentivizing visits to independent tabletop shops. These cards were distributed as rewards for tournament participation or casual play events during specific seasonal windows, serving as tangible anchors for local gaming culture and reinforcing the importance of brick-and-mortar storefronts in an increasingly digital hobbyist space.

The design of the LGS170 installment emphasizes the thematic aesthetic typical of its parent franchise, utilizing high-fantasy illustration techniques intended to evoke a sense of immediate, impactful narrative tension. While the specific illustrator for this promotional release often remains credited to the broader studio pool to maintain visual consistency across the set, the card was received by the player base as a functional utility piece that rewards tactical timing, effectively balancing its collectible status with practical gameplay utility.
