Where it came from
Incision was released as part of the Fang Blitz Deck, a pre-constructed product designed to introduce players to the core mechanics of the Flesh and Blood trading card game. Released to coincide with the broader game expansion cycles, the Blitz Deck format was specifically engineered to provide an accessible, ready-to-play experience for newcomers while maintaining the aggressive, high-tempo gameplay associated with the game's brutalist aesthetic.
The card’s design focuses on the attack-reaction mechanic, a hallmark of the game's combat system that rewards tactical depth and reactive decision-making. As a common-rarity card, Incision was crafted to serve as a functional staple within the deck, emphasizing the visceral, martial theme of the character class it supports. Its visual presentation relies on the sharp, thematic illustration style standardized by the Legend Story Studios art team to convey the swift and punishing nature of the attack.
