Where it came from
Incision was released in 2022 as part of the Arakni Blitz Deck for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. Developed by Legend Story Studios, this set was specifically engineered to introduce the Assassin class and the unique 'contract' playstyle to the game. As a common attack-reaction card, its inclusion in the pre-constructed deck provided players with a reliable, budget-friendly tool to enhance their combat effectiveness and ensure their specialized equipment could be triggered during high-stakes turns.
The visual design of the card reflects the dark, sleek aesthetic characteristic of the Dynasty expansion. Illustrated to convey the clinical precision of a professional assassin, the artwork emphasizes the sharp, visceral nature of the action it represents in-game. Within the competitive community, the card is recognized for its utility in managing the attack chain, serving as a fundamental component for those learning the complex mechanical nuances of the Arakni hero profile.
