Infecting Shot

Infecting Shot was released in 2021 as part of the Armory Deck: Azalea for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. This specialized product was designed by Legend Story Studios to provide players with a ready-to-play deck centered around the Ranger hero class, specifically highlighting the tactical gameplay associated with the character Azalea, Ace in the Hole. The card serves as a thematic representation of a Ranger's precision, focusing on the game's mechanics of bow-based combat and disrupting an opponent's turn.

The visual design of the card reflects the dark, gritty aesthetic of the Flesh and Blood world, with illustrations intended to convey the high-stakes tension of an archer preparing a poisoned projectile. As a common rarity card within the deck, it was engineered to be a functional staple for players looking to explore the Ranger's 'go again' mechanics and damage-dealing capabilities. The card was well-received by the community for its accessibility and its role in defining the baseline power level of the Azalea deck, facilitating easier entry for newcomers into the competitive landscape.
