Inner Chi

The Inner Chi resource card, cataloged as LGS284, was released as part of a recurring initiative by game publishers to support brick-and-mortar retail locations. These promotional items were distributed to local game stores to be given away during organized play events, tournaments, or community engagement nights. The intention behind such cards is to provide collectors and competitive players with exclusive aesthetic variations or unique utility pieces that incentivize visiting physical storefronts rather than relying solely on online retailers.

The design of the Inner Chi promo adheres to the minimalist, tranquil aesthetic typical of the resource cards in this series. By utilizing thematic, meditative imagery, the illustrator aimed to visually represent the concept of internal balance and focus within the game mechanics. Upon its release, the card was well-received by the player base for its distinctive art style, which differentiates it from the standard-issue resource cards found in core sets, making it a sought-after piece for players who prioritize both gameplay utility and card aesthetics.
