Lord Sutcliffe

Lord Sutcliffe (FAB046) is a mentor card released as a promotional item for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. It was designed to support the gameplay mechanics of the Guardian class, specifically functioning as a persistent buff that players can activate to enhance their hero's combat performance during a match. The card embodies the game's focus on high-stakes strategic depth and character-centric play, fitting into the broader lore of Rathe where mentors serve as pivotal figures guiding the development of the game's central heroes.

The visual design of Lord Sutcliffe reflects the distinct high-fantasy aesthetic established by Legend Story Studios. Much like other promo cards in the Flesh and Blood ecosystem, it was intended to serve as a high-rarity reward for participants in organized play events or as a collector’s piece for dedicated fans. The illustration emphasizes the noble, authoritative nature of the character, a common motif within the game’s visual language, and it has been received by the player base as a functional addition to specific competitive decks rather than merely an ornamental asset.
