Sap

Sap was released as a promotional card (FAB116) for the Flesh and Blood trading card game, a title developed by Legend Story Studios and first launched in 2019. The game is set in the fantasy world of Rathe, emphasizing a tactical, combat-oriented playstyle that distinguishes it from many contemporary collectible card games. As a promo card, Sap was distributed through organized play events or promotional kits provided to local game stores to incentivize participation and reward the game’s growing player base.

The design of Sap reflects the game’s distinct artistic direction, which often features vibrant, high-fantasy illustrations designed to evoke the gritty atmosphere of Rathe. The card’s function as an action card aligns with the game's core loop of managing resources and card sequences. While specific artist credits for individual promotional cards are sometimes sequestered within the broader production credits of the set’s creative team, the card represents the studio’s commitment to maintaining visual consistency while offering specialized, foil-treated variants to collectors and competitive players.
