Olympia

The Olympia card, designated OLA001, serves as the centerpiece hero card for the Olympia Blitz Deck. Released as part of the broader Flesh and Blood trading card game expansion, this card was designed to anchor the playstyle of the Olympia hero class, emphasizing mechanics centered around gold tokens and economic board control. Its introduction reflected the game's shift toward more interactive, resource-heavy strategies that reward players for effectively managing temporary assets throughout the match.

The visual direction for the card was helmed by the Flesh and Blood art team, who aimed to portray Olympia as a figure of both luxury and tactical foresight. By utilizing ornate, classical architectural motifs paired with sharp, disciplined linework, the illustration establishes her role as an influential strategist within the game's lore. Upon release, the card was well-received by the competitive community for its unique ability to disrupt opponent sequencing while maintaining a distinct thematic identity consistent with the set's aesthetic.

As a rare-tier hero card, OLA001 is recognized by collectors for its role in defining the Blitz format's meta-game. The card's design incorporates specific gameplay triggers that require players to balance risk and reward, making it a staple for those focusing on the game's strategic depth rather than purely aggressive tactics. It remains a foundational element for players looking to explore the mechanics introduced in the Olympia-focused expansion.
