Where it came from
Run into Trouble, numbered LGS251 within the Local Game Store Promos, was issued as part of a recurring initiative designed to incentivize foot traffic at local independent hobby retailers. These promotional cards serve as both functional game pieces and commemorative collectibles, often featuring unique or alternative artistic treatments that distinguish them from standard set releases.
The design of this specific promo was crafted to align with the visual language of the game’s core aesthetic while offering a fresh, limited-edition appeal to dedicated players. By rotating these cards through local storefronts, the publishers aim to foster community engagement and support the grassroots infrastructure of the hobby. Its reception has been largely favorable among competitive players who value both the utility of the card and its status as a tangible marker of their local gaming community’s participation in wider organized play.
