Runechant

The Runechant token was introduced alongside the debut of the Runeblade class in the Flesh and Blood trading card game, created by Legend Story Studios. Designed to function as a persistent resource for heroes like Viserai, these cards represent residual magical energy that players accumulate to power their subsequent attacks. The token serves as a physical representation of the game's core resource management system, ensuring that temporary magical effects remain visible on the board during play.

The visual design of the Runechant token, assigned the identifier FAB265 within the promo series, features the signature ethereal aesthetics synonymous with the Runeblade identity. Created by the studio's internal art team to maintain visual continuity across the game's various sets, the card uses a clear, distinct iconography to differentiate it from playable action cards. It is widely regarded by the community as a functional utility piece, favored for its tactile presence in competitive play compared to standard paper substitutes.
