Smash Instinct

Smash Instinct was released as part of the History Pack 1 set for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. This set was designed to provide players with accessible reprints of foundational cards from the game's earliest expansions, ensuring that newer participants could acquire essential play pieces that had become difficult to find on the secondary market. By curating key cards from the Welcome to Rathe, Arcane Rising, and Crucible of War sets, the developers sought to stabilize the ecosystem for competitive play.

The visual design of the card, consistent with the aesthetic of the Warrior class, focuses on aggressive combat efficiency. Like much of the artwork in the early Flesh and Blood sets, it reflects a high-fantasy style meant to convey the visceral nature of the game’s combat system. Upon its original release and subsequent appearance in History Pack 1, the card was widely received as a staple utility piece for Warrior decks, valued primarily for its functional role in extending offensive sequences rather than for any unique artistic flourish.
