Springboard Somersault

Springboard Somersault was introduced to the Flesh and Blood trading card game as part of History Pack 1, a curated set released to provide players with access to key cards from the game's early foundational sets. As a defense reaction, the card was designed to offer players a tactical mechanism to bolster their defenses during the reaction phase of combat, reflecting the game's focus on high-stakes, back-and-forth interaction.

The card's design and mechanical identity are rooted in the agile, martial themes synonymous with the Ninja class. Its illustration and function were crafted to capture the essence of a nimble combatant turning an opponent's momentum against them, a hallmark of the class's playstyle. Upon its release, the card became a standard component for players looking to refine their defensive capabilities in competitive formats, serving as a staple utility piece within its specific card pool.
