Where it came from
Starting Point was released in 2022 as a signature card included in the Arakni Blitz Deck for the Flesh and Blood trading card game. Developed by Legend Story Studios, the Arakni deck was designed to introduce players to the mechanics of the Assassin class, specifically focusing on the character Arakni, Solitary Confinement. This equipment piece serves as a foundational utility item, reflecting the game's focus on tactical deck construction and class-specific synergy.
The card’s design adheres to the distinct, immersive fantasy aesthetic established by Legend Story Studios for the Rathe universe. As a common equipment card, it provides a functional starting point for new players, balancing its role in low-cost deck building with the game's broader narrative themes of subterfuge and precision. Its reception has been largely defined by its utility in casual and introductory play, serving as a reliable entry point for those exploring the competitive landscape of the Assassin class.
