Take the Upper Hand

Take the Upper Hand is an attack-reaction card featured in the Armory Deck for the hero Olympia, released as part of the Flesh and Blood trading card game ecosystem. These decks were designed by Legend Story Studios to provide players with a cohesive, ready-to-play strategy centered around the specialized mechanics of a specific hero class. The card reflects the game's focus on fluid, back-and-forth combat, serving as a tactical tool to pivot the momentum during an exchange.

The visual design follows the aesthetic standards of the game, characterized by detailed fantasy art that emphasizes the martial nature of Olympia's abilities. As a common rarity card, it was intended to be widely accessible to the player base, ensuring that the fundamental mechanics of the Olympia archetype remained consistent across various levels of competitive and casual play. Its design aims to balance offensive pressure with the resource management constraints central to the game's design philosophy.
