Where it came from
Terms of Combat was released as part of the Mastery Pack Warrior expansion, a set designed to introduce more tactical depth and aggressive playstyles to the competitive environment. The card serves as an action-type utility, reflecting a period in the game's development where designers sought to reward players for direct engagement and risk-taking during combat phases.
The art and mechanics were developed to emphasize the visceral, high-stakes nature of the game’s core combat system. As a majestic rarity card, it was crafted with intricate foiling and detailed illustrations that set it apart from standard-issue cards, earning it a reputation among collectors and competitive players for both its aesthetic appeal and its utility in specialized warrior decks.
