Anakin Skywalker (Dark Side) (Special Edition)

This Anakin Skywalker figure was released by Funko as part of their Star Wars Pop! series, specifically commemorating the character's tragic transition to the dark side in the 2005 film Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. As a Special Edition variant, this piece was designed to capture the pivotal moment when Anakin fully embraces his new identity as a servant of the Sith, marked by the distinctive yellow eyes that symbolize his corruption.

The design follows Funko's established aesthetic, characterized by a stylized oversized head and simplified facial features, which contrast with the gravity of the subject matter. The figure was produced to satisfy the high demand from Star Wars collectors for specific character milestones. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans of the franchise who sought to document Anakin's descent into villainy, serving as a darker companion piece to the earlier iterations of the character available in the Pop! lineup.
