Anya Stroud

Anya Stroud was released as part of the Pop! Games series by Funko to coincide with the revitalization of the Gears of War franchise. Produced in the mid-2010s, this figure represents Anya as she appears in the later installments of the series, transitioning from a communications officer to a frontline combatant. The design adheres to Funko's signature aesthetic, featuring a stylized oversized head and simplified features, while incorporating specific details from her armored combat gear to distinguish the character for fans of the tactical shooter.

The figure was created under a licensing agreement between Funko and The Coalition, the studio responsible for the Gears of War franchise at the time. By translating the gritty, dark aesthetic of the video game series into the clean, minimalist vinyl form of a Pop figure, the designers aimed to capture the essence of Anya’s character arc. Upon its release, it became a standard entry for collectors focusing on the Gears of War line, noted for its accuracy in depicting the character's signature silhouette and armor components.
