Arthur

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Disney line in 2021, this figure commemorates the 1963 animated feature The Sword in the Stone. The item depicts the young protagonist, Arthur—affectionately referred to as Wart—during his formative days in Sir Ector's castle. The design reflects the classic mid-century animation style of Disney’s golden era, capturing his distinctive bowl cut and oversized tunic in the stylized, vinyl aesthetic characteristic of the series.

The figure was produced to satisfy growing collector interest in Disney's vault of classic animated properties, moving beyond contemporary blockbusters to celebrate nostalgic titles. As piece number 1099 in the expansive Pop! range, its creation followed Funko's strategy of deep-diving into specific character arcs from established franchises. While it was received warmly by animation historians and franchise completists, its reception is primarily noted for the faithful, simplified adaptation of character designer Ken Anderson's original vision for the film.
