Battle Beast [Bloody Chase]

Battle Beast, officially cataloged as Pop! Comics number 54, was released as part of Funko’s expansive line dedicated to the Invincible franchise. The figure represents the fan-favorite gladiator character from Robert Kirkman’s long-running comic book series, capturing his distinctive lion-like features and armored aesthetic. This specific release was designed to appeal to collectors of modern independent comic iconography, serving as a physical manifestation of the character's brutal yet honorable presence in the source material.

The 'Bloody Chase' variant is a specialized version of the standard Battle Beast figure, distinguished by simulated blood splatter on the character's armor and weapon. These chase variants are produced in smaller quantities and randomly inserted into shipping cases to encourage engagement among collectors. The design team focused on maintaining the iconic Funko aesthetic—oversized head, simplified facial features, and a static pose—while layering on the additional paint applications necessary to reflect the visceral nature of the character's battles within the Invincible universe.
