Where it came from
Bert is a central character from the 1964 Disney musical film Mary Poppins, portrayed by Dick Van Dyke. As part of the Disney 100 celebration, Funko released this Pop! Ride featuring Bert in his iconic chimney sweep attire, seated atop a whimsical carousel horse. This specific design commemorates a century of Disney storytelling, honoring the legacy of the film that defined a generation of cinematic musical fantasy.
The figure was produced to capture the nostalgic spirit of the character's memorable sequences in the film. The design team focused on translating the stylized aesthetic of Funko's Pop! vinyl line to the dynamic movement of the carousel ride, emphasizing the connection between the classic animation style and modern collectible trends. It was received as a commemorative tribute, appealing to collectors interested in milestone anniversaries within the Disney franchise.
