Where it came from
Released by Funko in 2015 as part of the Pop! Movies line, this figure depicts Brad Majors, one of the two primary protagonists from the 1975 cult classic musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The figure was produced to capitalize on the enduring legacy of the film, which transitioned from a box office failure to a global cultural phenomenon through decades of midnight screenings and participatory fandom.
The design draws directly from the character's signature appearance in the film's opening wedding scene, featuring his iconic beige suit and wire-rimmed glasses. Funko’s stylized aesthetic translates the character's conservative, mid-century aesthetic into their trademark bobblehead format, emphasizing his 'hero' archetype within the film’s campy, transgressive narrative. It was released alongside counterparts like Janet Weiss, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and Riff Raff to serve the dedicated community of Rocky Horror collectors.
