Where it came from
Bruce, the great white shark from the 2003 Pixar masterpiece Finding Nemo, was released as figure number 76 in the Pop! Disney line. This figure captures the character's signature toothy grin and imposing stature, reflecting the design philosophy of the Pop! series, which emphasizes stylized, oversized heads and simplified features to distill iconic film characters into a recognizable vinyl format.
The figure was produced during a period of significant expansion for Funko's Disney collaborations, intended to appeal to fans of classic Pixar cinema. By isolating Bruce—a character known for his humorous attempts at adopting a vegetarian lifestyle—the design team focused on his most recognizable traits to bridge the gap between his cinematic menace and the approachable, collectable aesthetic that defines the Pop! brand.
