Where it came from
Cactus Jack, a persona of professional wrestler Mick Foley, was immortalized as Funko Pop number 105 in the WWE series to celebrate his storied career and status as a hardcore wrestling icon. Released during Funko's broader initiative to capture the colorful history of professional wrestling in vinyl form, the figure depicts Foley in his signature flannel shirt, leather mask, and wild hair, paying homage to his gritty, high-stakes persona that defined a significant era of 1990s sports entertainment.
The design of this piece emphasizes the distinct aesthetic Foley cultivated, focusing on the rough-around-the-edges appearance that contrasted with the polished look of other WWE stars. By opting for a stylized version of his Cactus Jack attire, the designers aimed to provide a recognizable tribute for long-time wrestling fans. Upon its release, the figure was well-received by the collecting community for its faithful representation of a beloved character, solidifying its place as a staple in the WWE Funko lineup.
