Captain America

This Funko Pop! figure, numbered 1364, serves as part of the extensive Marvel Pop! line, a series that has become a staple of modern pop culture collectibles since its inception in 2011. The figure depicts Captain America, one of the foundational pillars of the Marvel Universe, capturing the character in a stylized, oversized-head aesthetic that defines the Funko brand. This particular design was produced to celebrate the enduring legacy of the hero, drawing on the classic iconography that has defined Steve Rogers across comic books and cinematic appearances for decades.

The design follows Funko’s signature approach of distilling complex characters into simple, minimalist vinyl forms, a style popularized by designer Ben Butcher and the broader Funko creative team. The goal is to maximize brand recognition through expressive, simplified features while maintaining the essential visual cues—such as the shield and uniform—that fans immediately associate with the character. The figure was released to the mass market as part of a recurring effort by Funko to update their roster of core Avengers, catering to both long-time collectors and new fans introduced through the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
