Captain Janeway

Captain Kathryn Janeway was introduced as the lead character in the 1995 series Star Trek: Voyager, marking a significant milestone as the first female captain to serve as the primary protagonist in a Star Trek television series. This Pop! figure, numbered 1754 in the Television line, serves as a modern tribute to the character's legacy as a decisive and intellectual leader navigating the Delta Quadrant. The design aims to capture her iconic appearance from the series, featuring the standard Starfleet uniform and her characteristic hairstyle, reflecting the aesthetic sensibilities of Funko’s stylized, big-headed vinyl format.

The figure was produced as part of Funko’s ongoing efforts to expand their Star Trek representation, tapping into a dedicated base of fans who have long requested more diverse character representation from the franchise. Upon its release, it was received by collectors as a long-awaited addition to the Pop! Star Trek roster, providing a companion piece to previously released figures from the series. The aesthetic remains consistent with Funko's established design language, prioritizing immediate recognizability of the character's key features to appeal to both casual viewers and long-term fans of the Voyager series.
