Charlie Brown With Kite

The Charlie Brown With Kite figure is a release within the long-running Funko Pop! Television line, which honors the cultural legacy of Charles M. Schulz’s iconic comic strip, Peanuts. Created to capture the perpetual optimism of the series' protagonist, the figure depicts Charlie Brown mid-struggle with his signature kite-eating tree trope. It serves as a modern iteration of classic Peanuts merchandise, bridging mid-century comic artistry with contemporary vinyl toy aesthetics.

The design draws heavily from the minimalist, expressive line work synonymous with Schulz’s original illustrations. Funko designers prioritized the character's recognizable silhouette—his yellow zig-zag shirt and round head—while incorporating the kite accessory as a nod to the character's frequent, humorous failures. Since its introduction, the piece has been welcomed by collectors as a faithful representation of the Peanuts brand, fitting seamlessly into a broader history of character-based memorabilia.
