Where it came from
Connie Springer is a central figure in the globally acclaimed anime and manga series Attack on Titan, created by Hajime Isayama. The character, known for his role in the 104th Training Corps and later the Survey Corps, represents the relatable, human element amidst the series' grim and high-stakes survival narrative. This Funko Pop! figure, numbered 1991 in the Animation line, was released as part of a wave intended to round out the series' core cast, capturing Connie in his iconic scouting uniform complete with the vertical maneuvering equipment essential for Titan combat.
The design process for these figures prioritizes the recognizable aesthetic of the Wit Studio and MAPPA anime adaptations, distilling complex, detailed tactical gear into the signature stylized, large-headed Funko silhouette. This specific figure was received by collectors as a long-awaited addition to the expansive Attack on Titan catalog, providing a cohesive look for those building display sets of the Survey Corps. It serves as a commemorative piece for fans who resonate with the character's journey from a naive recruit to a hardened veteran of the Paradis Island military.
