Where it came from
Released as part of the initial UFC Pop! series, this figure represents Conor McGregor at the peak of his promotional dominance. Funko designed the figure to capture his iconic presence, specifically referencing his signature walk-out attire and the aggressive stance he became known for during his rise to dual-division championship status. The figurine serves as a memento of a transformative era for the UFC, during which McGregor brought unprecedented mainstream visibility to mixed martial arts.
The design follows the standard Pop! aesthetic, featuring the oversized head and simplified features typical of the line, paired with custom details like his distinct tattoos and vibrant green fight shorts. As part of the first wave of UFC figures, it was received as a standard collectible for fans of the sport and, like many figures from this series, it has since become a sought-after piece for those documenting the history of modern combat sports iconography.
