Where it came from
Daryl Dixon, featuring his signature tactical poncho, was released as part of the Funko Pop! Television line for the hit AMC series The Walking Dead. This figure captures the character's rugged aesthetic during the series' middle seasons, a time when Daryl solidified his status as the show's breakout fan favorite. The design prioritizes the character's iconic crossbow and weathered vest, elements that became shorthand for his survivalist persona.
The figure reflects Funko's broader design language for the franchise, characterized by the brand's signature oversized head and simplified features. As part of the wider Walking Dead collection, this piece was aimed at collectors and viewers looking to represent the gritty, post-apocalyptic tone of the show on their shelves. It was well-received upon release, often cited by fans as an essential representation of the character's evolution from a volatile loner to a central leader within the group.
