Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Television series, this figure depicts the character Dee Reynolds from the long-running sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, specifically as she appears in the episode The Gang Turns Black. This episode, a musical parody of The Wiz, showcases the character's recurring desperation for theatrical validation, capturing her in her elaborate Princess costume.
The design follows the standard Funko aesthetic, simplifying the character's expressive, frantic features into the brand's signature stylized vinyl form. It was produced to commemorate the series' cultural longevity and its dedicated fanbase, arriving well into the show's run as part of a wave of figures that aimed to represent the chaotic personalities of Paddy's Pub patrons.
