Deku (Season 3)

Released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line, this figure depicts Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of the globally popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia. Introduced during the third season of the show’s run, the design captures Deku in his iconic green hero suit, reflecting the aesthetic shift and character progression that defined the series' expansion in the late 2010s. The figure serves as a core representation of the show's focus on heroism and growth, standardizing the character's appearance for fans and collectors of the franchise.

The design process for this Pop! vinyl follows Funko's signature stylized approach, simplifying the character's detailed anime features into a recognizable, large-headed format. By focusing on the specific costume details from the show’s third season, the design aims to align with key moments in the narrative arc where Deku begins to master his abilities. Upon release, it became a staple of the My Hero Academia merchandising line, widely received by both casual viewers and dedicated collectors as a quintessential piece of the expansive animation collection.
