Dio

Dio Brando, the primary antagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, was immortalized in the Funko Pop! Animation line as figure number 2109. This figure draws its design directly from the 'Stardust Crusaders' story arc, capturing the character’s iconic aesthetic with his golden hair, imposing stature, and his signature yellow-and-black color palette. The design focuses on his menacing presence, reflecting his status as one of the most recognizable villains in modern manga and anime history.

Funko’s expansion into the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise was a direct response to the series’ global surge in popularity following the successful animated adaptations by David Production. These figures are produced to cater to the anime community, aiming to distill Hirohiko Araki’s highly stylized character designs into the uniform, oversized-head silhouette synonymous with the Pop! brand. The line has generally been well-received by collectors for successfully translating complex anime character designs into an accessible, mass-market format.
