Dom [Chase]

The Dom [Chase] Funko Pop, numbered 1086 within the Pop! Movies line, was released in 2021 as part of the merchandise rollout for the film Space Jam: A New Legacy. This specific chase variant depicts Dom, the character voiced by Cedric Joe, showcasing his distinct basketball-themed design. The chase edition is distinguished from the common release by its unique pose and appearance, reflecting the film's integration of modern animation aesthetics and the high-profile return of the Looney Tunes franchise to the cinematic screen.

Funko’s design team developed the Space Jam: A New Legacy collection to mirror the vibrant, digital-influenced visual style of the film, which sought to bridge the nostalgia of the original 1996 movie with contemporary animation techniques. The chase variant was designed as a limited-production incentive to encourage collectors to hunt for the rarer sculpt. Upon its release, the figure was met with typical enthusiasm from the Pop! community, who prioritize these chase iterations as cornerstone pieces for completing their franchise-specific sets.
