Dragon

The Dragon figure, designated number 192 within the broader Stranger Things Pop! Digital series, represents a pivot by Funko into the digital collectible market. Released as part of a series that links physical vinyl figures to non-fungible tokens, this item was created to merge the brand's traditional aesthetic with the emerging trend of blockchain-based digital assets. It features the creature design derived from the popular Netflix science-fiction series, specifically focusing on the menacing imagery that defines the show's supernatural antagonist.

The design of this piece adheres to the signature Funko aesthetic, featuring oversized proportions and simplified, stylized facial features that contrast with the more intimidating source material. As part of a digital-first rollout, these figures were primarily accessible to collectors who engaged with the Funko Digital platform, reflecting a strategic shift to gamify the acquisition process. The line received mixed attention from the collecting community, drawing interest from those invested in digital ecosystems while remaining a notable, albeit distinct, entry for traditional Stranger Things enthusiasts.
