Elroy Jetson

Elroy Jetson, the youngest member of the space-age family in the classic Hanna-Barbera animated series The Jetsons, was reimagined as part of the Pop! Digital series by Funko. This iteration, numbered 63 in the sequence, was released as a non-fungible token (NFT) collectible, reflecting the broader market shift toward digital assets that began to permeate the pop culture memorabilia space in the early 2020s. The design adapts the iconic mid-century modern aesthetic of the original 1962 character, maintaining his signature futuristic cap and youthful appearance within the distinct stylized proportions characteristic of the Pop! brand.

This digital collectible was produced to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Hanna-Barbera catalog and the nostalgic appeal of its characters. By digitizing Elroy Jetson, the creators aimed to bridge the gap between traditional toy collecting and the rising interest in blockchain-authenticated digital art. Upon its release, the figure was received as a novel extension of the existing physical Pop! catalog, appealing to collectors who sought to diversify their holdings into the virtual realm while still engaging with the established visual language of the Jetsons franchise.
