Where it came from
Released as part of the Funko Pop! Television line in 2016, this figure depicts Felix Dawkins, a central character from the BBC America science fiction thriller Orphan Black. The series, which explored themes of identity, bodily autonomy, and corporate ethics, garnered a dedicated cult following throughout its five-season run. The figure was produced during a period when Funko was rapidly expanding its portfolio to capture the aesthetic of prestige television dramas.
The design follows the brand's signature stylized vinyl aesthetic, featuring Felix's distinct artistic flair and eclectic fashion sense that served as a hallmark of his character. Created by Funko’s in-house design team, the figure aimed to distill the character's rebellious, protective persona into a compact, recognizable format. Upon release, it was well-received by fans of the show who appreciated the attention to detail in replicating Felix’s iconic look, helping to solidify the Orphan Black collection as a sought-after set for enthusiasts of the genre.
