Fix-It Felix

The Fix-It Felix Pop! Pez dispenser was released as part of Funko's crossover line combining their signature stylized vinyl aesthetic with the classic collectible Pez dispenser format. Launched during the promotional period for Disney’s 2018 film Ralph Breaks the Internet, this item captures the protagonist of the arcade game within the original Wreck-It Ralph franchise. The design team focused on translating Felix’s pixelated, heroic appearance into the rigid, functional dimensions of a Pez stem, maintaining the brand’s recognizable oversized head proportions.

The broader Pop! Pez collection was introduced by Funko to capitalize on the intersection of nostalgia and pop culture branding, appealing to both toy collectors and long-time enthusiasts of the Pez novelty item. While the reception of the hybrid line was mixed among traditional vinyl collectors who preferred standard figures, the Ralph Breaks the Internet series was noted for its clean character representation and cohesive color palettes. It remains a specific artifact of the period when Funko sought to experiment with functional packaging and multi-branded licensing.
