Flik

Flik, the imaginative inventor ant from Pixar’s 1998 feature A Bug's Life, was immortalized as number 227 in the Funko Pop! Disney series. This figure was released as part of Funko's ongoing effort to revisit classic animation properties, capturing the character’s earnest expression and his signature blue leaf-inspired outfit. The design emphasizes the character's spindly proportions and inquisitive nature, staying true to the digital aesthetic of the original computer-animated film.

The figure emerged within a broader wave of Pixar-themed collectibles that aimed to tap into nostalgic appreciation for the studio's early catalog. Funko’s design team opted for their standard stylized vinyl silhouette, balancing the character's somewhat fragile appearance from the film with the brand's iconic oversized head and button-eye aesthetic. Upon release, it was well-received by fans of the movie, serving as a distinct representation of a character who had seen relatively little merchandise production compared to later, more commercially ubiquitous Pixar leads.
