Freddy Funko As Hercules [GITD] #SE /1000

The Freddy Funko as Hercules figure was released as a limited edition exclusive for the 2020 San Diego Comic-Con, which was held virtually due to the global pandemic. It represents a mashup between Funko's corporate mascot, Freddy Funko, and the titular protagonist of Disney’s 1997 animated feature Hercules. The design features Freddy wearing the hero's signature laurel wreath and toga, rendered with a glow-in-the-dark finish that emphasizes the character's mythical aesthetic.

This piece was produced in a strictly limited run of 1,000 units, a move that solidified its status as a high-tier collector's item within the broader Pop! vinyl line. The aesthetic design team at Funko focused on blending the recognizable, boxy silhouette of the Freddy Funko mold with the heroic iconography of Disney's Hercules. Upon its release, it was met with significant demand from long-term enthusiasts of the Funko brand, who prize limited-run Freddy mashups as some of the most prestigious entries in the hobby.
