Freddy Funko As Star Trooper [GITD] #SE /1000

The Freddy Funko as Star Trooper figure was released as a highly exclusive variant during the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. It depicts the Funko mascot, Freddy, dressed in the iconic Star Trooper outfit from the Fortnite franchise. The piece was designed to bridge Funko's flagship branding with one of the most culturally significant video games of the late 2010s, utilizing the glow-in-the-dark finish to appeal to high-end collectors and fans of limited-run convention exclusives.

The design process focused on translating the recognizable Fortnite character model into the simplified, oversized-head aesthetic characteristic of the Pop! line. By integrating the Star Trooper's distinct helmet and tactical gear onto the Freddy Funko base, designers aimed to create a prestige item that stood out from the mass-market Fortnite series. Upon its release, it was received with significant interest, rapidly becoming one of the more sought-after items in the Freddy Funko series due to its strict limitation of 1,000 individually numbered units.
