Gamma 1

Gamma 1 was released as part of the Funko Pop! Animation line to coincide with the 2022 film Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. The character was designed as one of the two primary antagonists created by Dr. Hedo for the Red Ribbon Army. Funko’s stylized interpretation maintains the signature sleek, retro-futuristic aesthetic of the character, emphasizing his distinct cape, crimson suit, and metallic-toned armor that drew inspiration from classic tokusatsu heroes.

The figure features the character's notable robotic features and intense expression, capturing his role as a self-styled superhero loyal to the Red Ribbon cause. As part of the wider Dragon Ball Super collection, it was aimed at both casual fans of the film and dedicated collectors of the series. The release was well-received by the community for its accurate representation of the character's unique look, which marked a departure from the traditional designs found in the Dragon Ball franchise.
