Where it came from
The Hulk Hogan and Mr. T two-pack was released as part of the Funko Pop! WWE line to commemorate the historic main event of the inaugural WrestleMania in 1985. This set celebrates the alliance between Hulk Hogan and Mr. T as they faced off against Rowdy Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff in a tag team match that served as the catalyst for WWE's transition into mainstream pop-culture relevance.
Designed in the signature stylized aesthetic of the Pop! vinyl series, these figures replicate the iconic ring gear worn by the duo during that landmark match. Funko's design team focused on capturing the distinct physical traits of the two figures, including Hulk Hogan’s signature mustache and Mr. T’s hallmark gold chain accessories. The set was received as a nostalgic tribute to the golden era of professional wrestling, appealing to both long-time fans of the sport and collectors of wrestling memorabilia.
