Hulk (Ragnarok) (Blue)

The Hulk (Ragnarok) Pop! figure, number 241 in the Marvel line, was released by Funko to coincide with the 2017 premiere of Thor: Ragnarok. The design draws directly from the film's gladiatorial aesthetic, depicting Bruce Banner's alter ego in his Sakaaran armor, complete with the iconic red face paint and dual-weapon combat gear. This version serves as a stylized representation of the character's heightened prominence and comedic evolution within the Marvel Cinematic Universe during this period.

The figure was created as part of a wider merchandising push by Funko, which sought to capitalize on the vibrant, retro-futuristic art direction established by director Taika Waititi. Funko's design team focused on translating the intricate textures of the gladiator helmet and body armor into the standard vinyl aesthetic, aiming for a balance between the character's massive stature and the recognizable proportions of the Pop! brand. The release was well-received by fans of the franchise, who sought to commemorate the Hulk’s fan-favorite return to the screen in the gladiator arena.
