Hulkbuster (Infinity War)

The Hulkbuster armor, designated as the Mark 44, was introduced to the Funko Pop! Marvel line as part of the merchandising rollout for the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War. This oversized figure, numbered 294, was designed to capture the imposing scale of the suit Bruce Banner pilots during the defense of Wakanda. It reflects the design language of the film’s high-stakes narrative, characterized by its bulky, metallic chassis and the intricate mechanical plating intended to distinguish it from standard-sized figures in the collection.

Funko’s design team emphasized the hulking silhouette of the armor, opting for a six-inch format to convey its weight and presence relative to the rest of the Infinity War series. Like many figures in the Pop! Marvel range, the design prioritizes a stylized, accessible aesthetic that remains consistent with the brand’s signature large-head, wide-eyed look. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors who prioritized cinematic accuracy and the specific tactical upgrades depicted in the film's climactic battle scenes.
