Jim Halpert (Book Face)

The Jim Halpert 'Book Face' Pop! Pez was released by Funko as part of their crossover collection merging their signature stylized vinyl figures with the classic Pez candy dispenser mechanism. Inspired by a memorable cold open from the television series The Office, the item captures the moment Jim mimics Dwight Schrute’s facial features by holding a book open in front of his own face. The design team focused on translating this specific visual gag into the condensed, simplified aesthetic of the Pop! Pez line, aiming to evoke the humor of the source material while maintaining the functional requirements of a candy dispenser.

Upon its release, the figure was marketed primarily to fans of The Office and collectors of contemporary pop culture memorabilia. Funko has long utilized the Pop! aesthetic to capitalize on iconic moments from modern sitcoms, and this piece is widely regarded as a niche tribute to one of the show's most beloved running gags. The figure reflects the company's strategy of deep-diving into specific character beats rather than just general likenesses, a design philosophy that has helped sustain interest within the collectible toy market.
