Jimbo Jones

Jimbo Jones was introduced as part of the Pop! Television line in 2022 to expand the representation of characters from the long-running animated series The Simpsons. As one of the three primary school bullies alongside Kearney and Dolph, Jimbo represents the quintessential 1990s delinquent archetype, complete with his signature skull-print t-shirt and beanie. The design process focused on translating the show's distinct visual style into the brand's signature stylized vinyl aesthetic while maintaining the character's recognizable, sneering expression.

This figure was released during a period when Funko was actively deepening its catalog of supporting characters from classic sitcoms and animated programs. The design team opted for a classic pose that highlights his iconic outfit, ensuring consistency with previous releases from The Simpsons collection. Upon its debut, the figure was well-received by franchise enthusiasts who had long requested characters beyond the core family unit, as it helped round out the representation of Springfield's secondary cast.
