Where it came from
Joko, also known as Palawa Joko, was released by Funko as part of their Pop! Games line to celebrate the Guild Wars 2 expansion, Path of Fire. The figure depicts the undead lich lord who serves as the primary antagonist within the narrative of the expansion, characterized by his distinctive golden armor and skeletal appearance.
The design of the figure leans into the iconic, stylized aesthetic established by the Funko Pop! brand, utilizing a oversized head and simplified facial features to translate the character's menacing in-game silhouette into a collectible format. It was produced as a tie-in product to merchandise the expanded lore of the Guild Wars franchise and was generally received as a standard entry for fans of the game's long-running antagonist.
