Where it came from
Released as part of the Disney World 50th Anniversary collection, the Jose Funko Pop! commemorates the 1971 opening of the Enchanted Tiki Room at Magic Kingdom. As one of the original attractions at the park, the animatronic birds have remained cultural touchstones for decades, representing the early intersection of audio-animatronics and immersive storytelling in theme park design.
The figure is styled in the classic Funko Pop! aesthetic, featuring the distinctive oversized head and minimalist features that define the brand. It was designed to celebrate the milestone anniversary of Walt Disney World, capturing the iconic personality of the macaw who served as the master of ceremonies for the attraction. Upon release, the figure was well-received by Disney enthusiasts and theme park memorabilia collectors looking to preserve a piece of the park's foundational history.
