Kanao Tsuyuri [GITD] (Special Edition)

Kanao Tsuyuri number 1305 is part of the Pop! Animation series produced by Funko, based on the character from the popular anime and manga franchise Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. This specific glow-in-the-dark (GITD) variant was released as a Special Edition, catering to collectors who prize aesthetic variations of characters from the Demon Slayer Corps. The figure depicts Kanao in her standard uniform, incorporating photoluminescent material that allows parts of the figure, typically the blade or design elements, to emit light in dark conditions.

The character design reflects Kanao’s refined, stoic appearance, capturing her signature butterfly hair ornament and uniform cloak. Funko designed this figure to align with their standard stylized aesthetic—oversized head, simplified facial features, and compact body proportions—while integrating the glow effect to distinguish it from the standard retail release. As a Special Edition, the item reflects the company's common practice of issuing variant figures to generate interest within the expansive Demon Slayer community, focusing on visual appeal rather than unique sculpt changes.
