Krillin (with Destructo Disc)

Krillin, one of the most recognizable characters from the long-running Dragon Ball Z anime, was captured in this Pop! Animation form as part of a series dedicated to the franchise's enduring cast. Released as number 706, the figure depicts the Earthling martial artist mid-action, wielding his signature energy-based attack known as the Destructo Disc. The design aims to replicate the stylized aesthetic popularized by the Funko brand, distilling the character's iconic orange turtle hermit gi and bald appearance into a compact, collectible vinyl format that appeals to long-time fans of the series.

The figure emerged during a period of extensive expansion for Funko's Dragon Ball Z line, which sought to commemorate pivotal moments and abilities from the show's lore. The inclusion of the translucent Destructo Disc accessory was a deliberate design choice meant to differentiate this iteration from previous releases and emphasize Krillin's strategic utility in battle. It was received as a standard addition to the collector market, aimed at completionists and casual viewers alike who value the consistent, uniform design language that defines the broader Pop! Animation collection.
